Kennedy, Quin, Jill and Matthew Arrive

Yesterday Matt and his family arrived safe and sound. No pictures yet but they go to visit the snakes and hopefully for a swim. Trish and I got up early and walked to the beach with the dogs. You will see just how large the beach is with the tide out.

March 11,2016 17th hole

Today I did better then yesterday but did not break 100. I had enough good shots to send me back tomorrow. I believe tomorrow will be game 10. I took a picture on the 17th tee you might like to see.

A herd of deer on the 16th hole

Kelly and I went for a cart ride to see if the pool was open. It was so hopefully the kids will be able to go swimming. We saw a lot of deer. On the way back with the sun going down we found a herd on the 16th hole.

You may need to enlarge the photo in order to see them.

Wednesday is Tournament Day yesterday was picture day

I played golf again yesterday being very careful not to reinjure my leg. I was OK. My game still needs a lot of improvement, but I did have my best score so far 105. We had 8 women and 22 men. My group came second and got our $2 back. I have played 7 rounds and won something 5 times.

Here is the group.

Trip to Beaufort and some High Tide Pictures

On Monday I hurt a muscle in my leg hitting a beautiful 4 iron shot on the 10th hole. I stopped playing and decided to take Tuesday off. We went in to Beaufort for lunch and Kelly wanted to see the horses.

Tuesday night Kelly and I walked up to the best Sunset view on the island

It is a little hard to see, but the extra high tide has just about covered all the beach

The Ocean by Fripp March 8, 2016

I took a video of the ocean this morning. The tide is so high they expect flooding in Charleston.

The tide was up behind the house this morning.

Trish was up early looking for shells.
